Oh, it's been another great day today! We had a very early start . We camped beside the canal last night, I slept on my doggy rug and my helper was in the sleeping bag on a narrow ledge by a swing bridge. I woke up feeling cold and tried to get into the sleeping bag for a cuddle. This didn't work so I lay on top of my helper's head. He got grumbly at this point so we decided to start walking, it was 4am.
Anyway, I soon felt warm again when we started walking. After a while, I met up with a new doggy friend and we had a fantastic time together, playing and chasing pretend rabbits. My pal and his lady owner walked with us for 6 miles.
By the time we arrived at Reading around 4pm, I was really tired and my helper was limping. When he went into the library, I fell asleep on the pavement outside. All the walking and playing with my new pal had worn me out. Soon we got on a bus where I had another snooze and we went to a hotel where I straight away fell asleep on the comfy carpet. We're in a bedroom now, I've been sleeping on a comfy blanket and having nice dreams. My helper has been splashing about in the shower. We've slept rough for the last week, so it's luxury to be indoors again.
